Welcome to the First Presbyterian Church U.S.A. in Gainesville! We are happy that you are interested in our church. Each Sunday morning, we have:
10:30 AM Morning Worship, and 11:30 AM Fellowship. A nursery is provided for parents who prefer to have their infants or toddlers cared for during worship. We are located at 401 S. Denton Street,
Gainesville, Texas.

Please join us on Sunday, December 28th when Dr. Vivian Thomlinson will bring our sermon which will be based on Matthew 2: 13-23, how Joseph was warned by an angel to take Mary and the newborn Jesus to Egypt because King Herod was furiously searching for the mystery baby whom the 3 Wise Men from the East had come seeking to honor as the star foretold "King of the Jews." This gruesome follow-up of Jesus's birth in an animals' trough in Bethlehem is, of course, the well-known story known as "King Herod's Slaughter of the Innocents." But there is more, much more, behind this disturbing narrative.
